Paint A Watercolor Summer Sky And Landscape

Learn how to paint a clear, blue summer sky in watercolor. This is the easiest of all possible ways to paint skies. The key is using the wet-into-wet painting technique to capture the soft, subtle color transistions in the sky. We’ll also practice a little bit of landscape painting as well!
This is an easy paint project using basic techniques and just a few colors.
What you’ll need
- Brushes – Medium Round, Small Round.
- Colors – Cadmium Yellow Medium, DaVinci Cadmium Red Light, WN Cobalt Blue, WN Cerulean Blue
- Watercolor paper – preferably Arches 140lb Cold Press cut to about 6″ x 9″ or so
