Quick Impressionistic Reflections On A Silver Cup
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
- Using basic technique – wet-into-wet – for a sophisticated effect
- Recognize and manage the ‘wetness’ of the washes and the paper
- Using gradation and contrast to represent reflections
In this lesson you’ll learn how to capture the look of reflections on a silver cup and red spice tin. It’s really much easier than it seems.
Most of the work is wet-into-wet allowing big marks and single brush strokes to tell the story.
This is not the easiest lesson but working through it will show how easy it is to paint reflections and reflective objects.
