About This Lesson
This painting is an exercise in capturing light at a particular time of the year.
The sun is settling toward the fall equinox in late summer. The lower sun means longer shadows in the early and late hours of the day.
Summer greens have changed, fading and dulling as they start to change to fall color.
We’ll work on capturing late summer light, long shadows and fading greens all in this lesson.
