Wet-Into-Wet and Shape-making
Working under the pressure of a clock requires working wet so as to be able to cover the paper quickly. At the same time, massing in and connecting different objects, or portions of different objects helps with what I like to call ‘shape-making’. Shape-making is an essential skill for those who want to create dynamic painting compositions
So grab your brush, have courage and jump in!
- Brushes – Medium Round and Small Round
- Colors – Raw Sienna, Daniel Smith Quinacridone Deep Gold, DaVinci Cadmium Red Light, Winsor Newton Perm. Alizarin Crimson, DaVinci Thalo Blue
- Watercolor paper – preferably Arches 140lb Cold Press cut to about 7″ x 11″ or so
